Stories
Little tidbits of e-mail wisdom.

I'm sure that at one time or another, we've all received a piece of e-mail that has touched our hearts. Stories of little children battling cancer, or of mothers losing loved ones due to the carelessness of a drunken driver. And if you are anything like me, you've done the same thing I have - deleted them and blocked the email address of the sap that insists on forwarding this kind of crap to you.

But on occasion, you receive a story that actually was funny. Stories that had you rolling on the floor, crying your eyes out. Stories that you could wait to forward to each and every one of your friends. Stories that deserve to have their own website.

But unfortunately, I can never remember to save any of those messages. So instead, I offer you the following gems.

Science? Australopithecus spiff-arino - A curator from the Smithsonian Institute responds to a self-proclaimed 'scientist', which has been persistant in having his 'work' be displayed in the museum. Of course, I cannot verify whether this letter is actually legitamate. But, even if it isn't it is still quite funny.

Don't give up your liberty I Gave Up a Little Liberty - A story based on the classic quote by Ben Franklin, "They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety".

Declaration of Noncompliance - The best hope for liberty may be to vow to sabotage government abuses and monkeywrench enforcement efforts.

Carl Sagan The Dragon in My Garage - A short lesson in critical thinking, written by Doctor Carl Sagan.

The Ant and the Grasshopper - A new spin on a classic story.

How Gullible Are We? - Environmental Theory.

Extapolation - An example of the dangers of extrapolation. An excerpt from Life on the Mississippi, By Mark Twain

Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it? Ban Bread - The hard facts about about this secret killer
